two roads diverged in a wood. and i - i took the one less traveled by. and that has made all the difference.

  1. A time to go

I am so full of emotion:
Of gratefulness for my year here
Of thankfulness for the people who welcomed me
Of pride for the fact that I got where I am right now
Of passion for what I am doing
    Of excitement for next year
Of satisfaction with how hard I worked this year
    Of anxiety for the summer
    Of discomfort about that anxiety
Of love for the amazing people I met here
Of comfort of I’m going home
    Of sadness for leaving
Of heartbreaking for saying goodbye to my best friend here
Of anger at the world for taking people away from me.

I’m so full of all this, I can’t sleep tonight. I can’t imagine next year here with Steph. I’m just so sad about it. I’m happy for her. I’m just sad that even the best of things always bring trials.

  2. Loneliness does not come from having no people around you, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you.

  3. You won’t allow me to go to school.
    I won’t become a doctor.
    Remember this:
One day you will be sick.
